A 20% deposit is required on confirmation of your order.
The balance is required 3 weeks prior to the date of hire.
If circumstances force you to cancel your event and you do so within 30 days of the agreed delivery date, your deposit will be returned in full. If however, less than 30 days notice is given, a 50% charge will be incurred.
As my china is old and delicate and is not really suitable to go in the dishwasher, items are to be returned unwashed with just the excess food wiped off and packed back into the baskets ready for collection. A small charge of 15% of the total hire charge will cover the hand washing up cost.
You can hire the china for 3 days but if you need it for longer this can be arranged subject to availabilty.
Accidents do happen. In the unlikely event that a piece of china is broken, a fully refundable deposit of £100 or 25% of the hire cost ( whichever is greater) will be required on delivery of the china. This can be in cash or by cheque made payable to Mrs. C. Martin. Should any breakages occur, a deduction will be made from the deposit according to the values listed below:
Teacup and saucer £10
Tea plate £5
Jug, bowl and pot £10
Teapot £25
Cake stand £25
Glass bowl and jug £5
Glass cake stand £12
Cutlery £5
Linen (from £5)
If no loss/damages occur and everything is returned intact, your deposit will be returned to you in full.
A copy of these terms and conditions will require a signature on receipt of the china indicating your agreement to the above.
